Canon EOS XTi digital Camera and Tamron SP 17-50 f2.8 lens in Regina, Saskatchewan for sale

For Sale: Used Canon EOS Digital EOS Kiss Digital X (known as the Rebel XTi in North America or the Canon EOS 400D in Europe), professional-grade Tamron SP 17-50mm f2.8 Model A16 lens, 8 GB CompactFlash card, 2 batteries, charger and case. A Nikon (!) strap is also included.
This 10MP camera was originally purchased in Japan, and has features such as 3 fps drive, pop-up flash and sensor cleaning. Sorry, video and live-view are not possible with this camera. Everything works well, except that the release button for the compact flash memory card is stuck (see photo) -- the card therefore has to be pried carefully from the camera, or you can choose to download photos directly through a USB port instead (included).
This is a great little camera, still capable of producing excellent photos.
The best part, however, is the Tamron lens! I've got the Nikon version and it's every bit as sharp as the professional (and VERY expensive) Nikkor AF-S 17-55 f2.8 lens and a vast improvement over kit lenses. This lens alone often sells for more than my asking price, so you may want to consider this camera a fancy rear lens cap! Kidding aside, this lens will easily keep up with the demands of newer Canon 24MP Rebel cameras. The asking price is therefore reasonable but firm.
